2027 Winter Flag Football - Martinez - Alhambra High School
Welcome to the 8th season of Next Level Flag Football in Martinez at Alhambra High School! We're proud to bring families the best youth sports experience with a fun, competitive, and community-driven program for every athlete.
Priority Registration is now open for all returning participants from the 2026 Winter Flag Football season at Alhambra High School!
General Registration opens for all participants on Wednesday, April 15th at 9:00 AM PST!

League Operations
- Season Operations: The Next Level Flag Football season at Alhambra High School will run with 9 program dates over the program schedule.
- Game Dates: All games are on Sundays (with the exception of Week 6) - please see the full schedule below!
- Team Roster Size: Teams are comprised of 12 players maximum (15 for 7th & 8th grade), with limited exceptions on a case-by-case basis.
- Season Fees: $335.00 - Fees are inclusive of a participant's custom jersey, shorts, use of flags, and other equipment/offerings.
- Uniform Delivery: All season uniforms will be shipped to a participant's home (or provided shipping address). Delivery will occur via USPS, and a valid USPS delivery location is required. Participants must keep their shipping addresses up to date for proper delivery. Replacement uniforms will be at the participant's cost if inaccurate addresses are provided at the time of production.
- Player Packs - Optional Purchases: During the registration process, you will have the opportunity to purchase any of our five (5) additional Next Level Flag Football Player Packs. These are optional purchases to go along with your program registration fees. Player Pack items will be added to your base league fees (which include the cost of your participant’s uniform) at checkout. All Player Pack merchandise will be shipped directly to your home along with your participant’s season uniform - unless otherwise communicated from our team. Sizing verifications (where applicable) will be sent out via email as your uniform heads into production!
- Receiver Gloves - $40.00: Nike Receiver Gloves.
- Base Player Pack - $45.00: Nike Long Sleeve Dri-Fit featuring our Player Logo (front) and participant’s last name (back).
- Pro Player Pack - $60.00: Nike Hoodie featuring our Player Logo (front) and participant’s last name (back).
- Performance Pack - $65.00: One pair of Compression Tights (white), one Compression Shirt (white).

Week 6 activity will take place on Saturday, February 13th instead of Sunday, February 14th.
All teams will play games through the entire 9-week program schedule regardless of their seeding in the Playoff Weeks. Schedule above may be subject to change.

Site Director: Alan Hern
Coach Alan Hern graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD in 1993 and served as a naval officer until 1998. He returned to his hometown of Martinez and has coached football at Alhambra High School for 17 years, the last 10 years as Head Varsity Coach. In addition to football, Alan was a varsity baseball assistant for 7 years and is currently in his 7th season as the Assistant Head Coach/Sprint Coach for the Alhambra Track Team. His football teams have made the playoffs in 7 of 10 seasons (including the last 6 in a row) and were league champions in 2017. Alan has coached 25+ players who have gone on to play college football, including Trevor Davis who is a 4 year NFL veteran.
